My interest in traditional Chinese medicine began during travels to South Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore while participating in a university cross-cultural international management term. These life-changing travel and work experiences shifted my life-paradigm towards intentional cultivation of a holistic view and approach towards the interconnection of mind, body, and spirit.
While the world as we know it is rapidly changing, I am committed to using these ancient principles and techniques to provide safe and nurturing treatments to people of all ages, genders, and race. I believe a return to elemental and holistic practices provides an appropriate and strong bedrock from which to navigate the disruptive traumas our bodies and spirits face in our life-journeys.
I have lived in many places and currently call the Annapolis Valley home. I enjoy exploring and photographing the changing elements of Mother Nature in all seasons with my husband and two young sons. I have an innate passion for organically growing plants for culinary and medicinal purposes. The warm and fertile months are spent growing and harvesting while during the cold dark months I find myself turning inward to study the stories of the cosmos and turn the pages of seed catalogues waiting for the earth to be ready for spring planting.
